Let's talk about curriculum. The broad scope curriculum renewal in Alberta started in 2021 when the draft curriculum was released for kindergarten to grade three.

And, since then, everything has kind of been rolling onward.

So, this is the first time that the curriculum has changed across every subject matter of every grade level.

So once the implementation on K to 3 finished, it rolled forward to 3 - 6.

And onward, we are now in the final phase as the, draft curriculum was released for junior high last year.

We're moving now into curriculum development for grades 10, 11 and 12.

This has been concerning and created a significant burden for teachers, but EIPS has done a great job of supporting teachers by developing resources and allowing for professional development.
